Lina Bo Bardi devoted her working life to promoting the social and cultural potential of architecture and design. In 1977, she was tasked to redevelop “SESC Pompéia”(São Paulo), a disused factory meant to be demolished and rebuilt into a leisure and recreation centre for the working class. After a site visit in the early stages of the project, Bo Bardi, having noticed that locals and former factory workers were already using the existing structure as a social gathering space, set out to maintain and amplify those uses, rather than interfere. Mirroring the industrial interiors of this edifice, the delicate ridges of the Achillina ring gracefully wrap around the finger; a tribute to those buildings shaped by love.
All of the materials that we use in our jewellery are ethically and sustainably sourced using RJC approved gold and predominantly recycled silver.
