Jean Arp’s time in Paris proved critical to his artistic lineage. It was there the evolution of his recognisable style of metaphysical compositions through organic and natural morphings - “a fruit that grows in man” - frequently took on a sensual form, as shown in his 1959 Ganymède sculpture. The Large Chain necklace inherits that same sheen and sleekness, forming a seamless chain that elegantly accentuates the curves and crevices of the neckline. The chain can be worn singularly or layered alongside our other necklaces, and of course, paired with the matching Ganymède bracelet.
All of the materials that we use in our jewellery are ethically and sustainably sourced using Fair Mined certified gold and predominantly recycled silver.
The Ganymède necklaces are cast and assembled in Italy by a community of artisans from factory, Euro90. The gold vermeil option is finished in the UK by our plating specialist, D&M. Read more about the story behind our pieces and their makers here.
