18 Albion Mews Necklace

Gold vermeil

A curved, donut pendant inset with lapis lazuli, this piece is inspired by the godmother of modern ceramics, Lucie Rie. Whether adoring functional pots and tableware with delicate sgraffito decoration or experimenting with colour through glaze, Rie managed to negotiate the dualities of function and beauty. Referencing a ceramic button crafted by the artist, 18 Albion Mews offers a refined statement on creative balance.

The 18 Albion Mews pendant is thoughtfully crafted in your choice of sterling silver 925 or 18k gold vermeil, inset with lapis lazuli. The pendant, measuring 15mm in diameter and 6.5 mm thick, with a lapis insert measuring 8mm by 5mm, is elegantly balanced upon a 50cm long and 1mm thick box chain.
Please note, all stones are natural gemstones and will present variations in colour and pattern.

All of the materials that we use in our jewellery are ethically and sustainably sourced using Fair Mined certified gold and predominantly recycled silver.
The 18 Albion Mews necklaces are cast and assembled in Thailand by a community of artisans from our partner factory, Boma. The gold vermeil option is finished in the UK by our plating specialist, D&M. Read more about the story behind our pieces and their makers here.
